WebNov 8, 2006 · The base number in the part number from Ford which designates a cylinder head is 6049 so the actual part number is M-6049-A460 if it is an A460 Ford head; the casting number may be a number or two off that. Ford Racing dropped that head and it is now bought through "Trick Flow" and they have made a couple versions in the mean time.
