WebFeb 28, 2024 · The plan is to remove the wings, glue on a thin piece of mahogany then glue on new wings. I took a piece of maple, cut it to the same width as the headstock minus the wings and screwed it to the back of the headstock. Then removed most of the old wings with a bandsaw.

I think where people really start getting into trouble is when they put Gibson on the headstock and serial numbers on the back.
