WebbI have the 2nd Gen 1150 Pro series and there is always a difference in controller temp and probe. I ignore what the controller says completely and simply adjust it up and down until my probe reads the right temperature. Sometimes it is a 20 degree difference and sometimes it is a 80. There’s no rhyme or reason I can’t find as to why WebbI just purchased the pit boss 1150 pro series. Supposedly the newest pit boss on the market. Has the PID controller. I am having trouble getting it to reach my desired temp. I’m setting it at 225F and it never reaches it. It stays around 155-165 range. It seems to do better at higher temps 350+.
