WebWith a mana flower you can heal your ally at amazing speeds as well as yourself. Although it is later game, I would say it is the best mana using ally healing item pre-hardmode. But to balance this, instead of doing what the solar armour does by buffing your attack stats, do like Thorium's healer class does, reduce it. That way with the armour itself.
